A classic among almost unkillable plants! The 'Cameleon' variety ranges in color from very pale green to dark green. Furthermore, we notice that plants with mostly paler leaves require more light. Under its fleshy petioles are hidden rhizomatous tubers resembling potatoes, at soil level. These are water reserves, called "caudexes." Thanks to these reserves, it is able to survive periods of drought in its natural habitat. As a houseplant, it is recommended to let the soil dry completely between waterings. The leaves can reach 1 m in height! In addition, the ZZ tolerates dark rooms very well. However, for optimal growth, it prefers a bright room.
Caution! Risk of toxicity if swallowed.
