Vriesea carinata is a spectacular tropical bromeliad, recognized for its elegant foliage and impressive bloom.
Its long, strap-like leaves, dark green with shiny reflections, form a compact rosette. The true appeal of this species is its colorful bract, often bright red or orange, which emerges from the center and can last for several months. Do not cut damaged leaves, as these harbor pups that will take over.
