Vanilla is the most famous flavor in the world, while its cultivation as a houseplant is rather rare. It is the only orchid whose fruits are edible. Its foliage is particularly attractive: the shiny green leaves are marbled with wide white bands, creating a spectacular and decorative contrast. This variegation makes each leaf unique, accentuating the plant's graphic and lush effect. To thrive, this epiphytic orchid needs a support to climb and a substrate rich in organic matter - composed of sphagnum moss, bark, and perlite. The flower has a short lifespan, opening in the morning and closing after a few hours.
