This is a magnificent epiphytic plant that doesn't need any potting soil! The 'Butzii' variety has long, rigid, wavy leaves. The leaves are light green with purple/brownish spots (the signature of the Butzii). Like most tillandsias, it will produce pretty little purple flowers. Approximately once a week, soak it in room temperature water for about fifteen minutes, or you can hang it from the showerhead during your shower. After hydrating your plant, you can put it back in place.
