The Tillandsia Brach × Abdita is an air plant hybrid prized for its dense rosette and arched leaves. Its silvery-green foliage can take on a red or pinkish hue as it approaches flowering, a common phenomenon in many tillandsias.
Like all tillandsias, this plant is epiphytic, meaning it naturally grows on trees or rocks rather than in soil. It absorbs water and nutrients directly through its leaves thanks to tiny scales called trichomes.
This plant generally remains compact, reaching about 10 to 20 cm in diameter, making it ideal for open terrariums, decorative stands, or hanging arrangements.
Approximately once a week, soak it in room temperature water for about fifteen minutes, or you can hang it from the showerhead during your shower. After hydrating your plant, you can put it back in place.
