The Marantacea family stands out for its exceptional foliage. The Stromanthe catches the eye with its slender leaves comprising different shades of pink and green. Also called Peacock Plant because its leaves have the particularity of closing in the evening and opening during the day. It requires little light to flourish, but appreciates a warm and humid environment. We recommend watering with demineralized water which can be bought in pharmacies or with rainwater. Slush works great! This plant does not tolerate the excess minerals found in tap water very well. This excess can cause burns at the roots and damage the foliage.
