Stephania Suberosa is an unusual tropical plant. It is valued for its thick, textured caudex, which allows it to store water, as well as for its foliage. Delicate and elegant. It is often grown as a houseplant or bonsai. This plant may lose its leaves when it goes dormant due to lack of light in winter. During its dormant period, it is recommended to reduce watering to a minimum.

Caution! Very toxic if swallowed.
