A classic houseplant. Also known as the Peace Lily, for its white, crescent-shaped blooms. The 'Jessica' variety has heavily variegated cream foliage. Its long, lanceolate leaves communicate its needs. Indeed, when the Spathiphyllum lacks water, its leaves quickly lose their turgor. This plant grows in the shade of trees in humid tropical forests. The Spathiphyllum is highly appreciated for its tolerance to low light. To promote its growth and inflorescence, it prefers high ambient humidity and bright, indirect light.
