Sometimes confused with the Jade Tree (Crassula Ovata), however, the Portulacaria has finer leaves. Furthermore, this small succulent shrub is highly prized for its tough trunk and fleshy, jade-green foliage. Its small size and tolerance for pruning make this specimen ideal for bonsai cultivation.

Interesting fact: Also called Elephant Bush, because South African elephants love to eat it.
