Now known as Platycerium Elephantotis, this tropical epiphytic fern is also called elkhorn fern or elephant horn fern. It is distinguished by two types of fronds: sterile, shield-like fronds that adhere to their support and fertile, upright, chlorophyllous fronds that resemble deer antlers. When hung, this epiphytic fern can be used to create a true work of art. By placing it on a wooden surface, as in its natural habitat, it clings to it and adds a rustic chalet touch to your decor. It prefers indirect light and constant humidity, but is sensitive to grease deposits and standing water on its fronds.

Non-toxic to animals.
