Pilea Hitchcockii 'Dark Mystery' behaves as a small groundcover shrub in its natural habitat. As a houseplant, it can be maintained as a small tree with seasonal maintenance pruning. The 'Dark Mystery' variety has unique, dense, textured foliage. We love its very dark, metallic-hued leaves. To promote its vibrant color, the pilea appreciates being in a bright room. However, avoid direct sunlight, which can damage its leaves.
Non-toxic to animals.
