The Peperomia scandens is a small tropical plant with a trailing or climbing habit, particularly appreciated for its beautiful, heart-shaped, fleshy leaves. Its glossy green foliage is slightly reminiscent of a pothos, but the plant remains much more compact. Its thick stems can be left to trail from a hanging basket or guided onto a support.
Peperomia stores water in its leaves and therefore tolerates slight underwatering better than overwatering. Avoid keeping the potting mix constantly soggy.
