The Peperomia caperata 'Cayenne' is a small, compact tropical plant with thick, deeply corrugated foliage. Its upright habit and relatively compact growth make it an excellent houseplant, even in small spaces. Like other Peperomia caperata, it can produce thin, spike-like inflorescences.

Peperomia stores water in its leaves and therefore tolerates slight underwatering better than overwatering. Avoid keeping the soil constantly soggy.

Non-toxic to animals.
