Also called Racquet plant by its flattened shape, the 'Phaeaecantha' is a dwarf variety with long needles. Also, its areoles - grouping of spines are orange in color. Opuntias bear colorful flowers at the top of their stem. Like most cacti, it prefers heat and light.
