A unique cactus thanks to its flattened, racket-shaped stems, called cladodes. In its natural habitat, it produces edible fruits called barber figs. Its leaves are also edible. However, in our homes, its flowering is rather rare. Like most cacti, it prefers heat and light.

Non-toxic to animals.
