We love it for its intriguing look. We can find its insect traps at the end of its long green leaves. The trap is formed from a leaf which as it grows flattens and swells to form a beautiful pitcher. The Gaya variety bears variegated, almost tiger colored pitchers. A carnivorous plant with several qualities. Indeed, the majority of carnivorous plants require special attention. However, the Nepenthes does not need a period of dormancy, nor to be watered with demineralised water.
