Monanthes muralis is a rare and fascinating small succulent, appreciated for its miniature habit and almost "mossy" appearance. Its fine, branched stems bear tiny rosettes of fleshy, rounded, slightly pointed leaves, ranging from olive green to grayish green, sometimes tinged with red in the sun. During flowering, it produces small, delicate, pale green or yellowish star-shaped flowers that contrast beautifully with its foliage. It is highly valued for its adaptation to moderate light. To promote its growth, it is recommended to place it in bright light. Too much shade leads to stretched and less compact growth. Monanthes muralis is often compared to a miniature alpine plant, combining delicacy and robustness.
Ideal for open terrariums, rock gardens, or succulent collections.
