Isolepis Cernua is a semi-aquatic plant with a bushy, supple, trailing habit, appreciated for its appearance reminiscent of broom fibers - hence its commercial name of 'fiber optic grass'. In addition, it produces tiny silvery to white flowers, shaped like small balls at the end of each strand, resembling points of light, hence the "fiber optic" effect.

Non-toxic to animals.
