Hypocyrta 'Black Gold', or the goldfish plant, is an attractive plant. The 'Variegata' variety is distinguished by its shiny green foliage variegated with cream or white, and its orange flowers resembling small goldfish. Regular fertilization and bright light are necessary for it to bloom. Under optimal conditions, its blooming is abundant and can last from July to September! An ideal plant for hanging thanks to its long, semi-trailing stems and small, glossy green leaves.
