Hoya Carnosa, known as the 'wax plant' or 'porcelain flower', is a climbing plant. The 'Krimson Queen' variety is unique for the color of its foliage. The leaves are variegated with white and pink edges. Occasionally, the leaves are entirely white. Its magnificent bloom of thirty to fifty small, waxy, star-shaped flowers is simply spectacular. The pale pink flowers become more vibrant in the evening. However, it rarely blooms before it is two years old. To encourage flowering, it is recommended to place it in a bright room and reduce the frequency of repotting. It likes to be kept tightly in its pot!
