A small, compact houseplant. The Fittonia is much appreciated for its textured and colored foliage. Indeed, the hue of its leaves contrasts with its veins. The 'White Anne' variety has elongated leaves and different coloring depending on its maturity. The leaves can appear completely white and gradually turn green. To keep its compact and bushy shape, it is recommended to pinch the tips of the stems. In its natural habitat, it grows in the shade of trees in tropical forests.
