Also known as the beginner's bonsai! It requires little care. Its small tree-like appearance is actually the result of grafting two plants together. One part contains its imposing, branched roots, and the other its small, glossy green leaves. To maintain its bonsai appearance, it is recommended to prune new shoots in the spring. It also prefers high humidity and is very susceptible to root rot. Avoid letting water remain in the saucer. Like all fig trees, it does not like to be moved.
Caution: Handle with care! This plant contains latex and may cause irritation if it comes into contact with skin and eyes. May be toxic if swallowed.
