Also called rubber plant for the appearance of its thick, shiny foliage. This new variety of the Ficus Elastica family is very popular for its variegated white, yellow and pink foliage. Due to the size of the leaves, it is important to clean them regularly to avoid an accumulation of dust. The new leaves are rolled up in a red sheath, the pale and light coloring brightens up the most mundane rooms. Like all fig trees, it doesn't like to be moved! From the same family, the elastica variety is one of the easiest to maintain.
Be careful, handle with care! This plant contains latex, may cause irritation in contact with skin and eyes. Risk of toxicity if swallowed, for animals.
