From the same family as Marantas, Ctenanthes move similarly depending on the time of day. We love them for their blue-green coloration. Ctenanthes require little light to thrive but enjoy a warm and humid environment. We recommend watering with demineralized water, which can be purchased at a pharmacy, or with rainwater. Melted snow works very well! They do not tolerate the excess minerals found in tap water very well. This excess can cause root burn and damage the foliage.
