Clusia Rosea is a small, semi-epiphytic tree with unique foliage. The leaves can be etched with a sharp object—hence the name autograph tree—and the marks remain visible for a long time. Its flowering is similar to that of the Magnolia. That is, large flowers with many petals, 5-10 cm in diameter and varying shades of pink.

Interesting fact: In the past, its leaves were used as playing cards by the local people of Costa Rica. They were also used to transmit messages due to the scarcity of paper in some countries.

Caution! Risk of toxicity if swallowed.
