Also known as Finger Lime or Caviar Lemon, it is a rare citrus fruit highly prized in gastronomy for its unique fruit shape and texture. The stems are equipped with small, sharp thorns, making it a plant that must be handled with care. Small, fragrant white to pinkish flowers usually appear in spring. They attract pollinators. Requires light pruning to aerate the branches and stimulate fruiting. Fertilization suitable for citrus trees is recommended. If you grow your lemon tree indoors, in the spring, when it begins to bloom, you will need to manually pollinate the flowers to encourage fruit formation. To do this, you can use a soft paintbrush and transfer the pollen from one flower to another. It is strongly recommended to provide it with at least 6 hours of sunlight per day. The fruits have a tangy, lively, and refined taste, somewhere between lemon and grapefruit, with slightly herbal undertones.
