The Meyer Lemon ( Citrus × meyeri ) is a hybrid variety of lemon tree, probably resulting from a cross between a lemon (Citrus limon) and a sweet orange or mandarin (Citrus reticulata). It is now possible to grow small citrus fruits in our homes. This small tree grows very well in pots. In optimal growing conditions, it can even produce several fruits. If you grow your lemon tree indoors, in the spring, when it begins to bloom, you will need to manually pollinate the flowers to encourage fruit formation. To do this, you can use a soft paintbrush and transfer the pollen from one flower to another. It is strongly recommended to provide it with a minimum of 6 hours of sunlight per day and to give it a regular supply of fertilizer.

Caution! Risk of toxicity to animals.
