The Marantacea family stands out for its exceptional foliage. Calathea Lietzei 'Yellow Fusion' attracts the eye with its delicate, slender leaves variegated in different shades of green and yellow. The undersides of the leaves can have slight shades of pink or mauve. Also called Prayer Plant because its leaves have the particularity of closing in the evening and opening during the day. It requires little light to flourish, but appreciates a warm and humid environment. We recommend watering with demineralized water, which can be purchased at the pharmacy, or with rainwater. Melted snow works very well! This plant does not tolerate the excess minerals found in tap water very well. This excess can cause root burns and damage the foliage.
