Calatheas have foliage that is out of the ordinary. This variety has very dark green wavy leaves with touches of pink. It requires little light to flourish, but appreciates a warm and humid environment. We recommend watering with demineralized water which can be purchased in pharmacies or with rainwater. Melted snow works great! Calatheas do not tolerate excess minerals found in tap water very well. This excess can cause root burns and damage the foliage.

Non-toxic to animals.
