The Marantaceae family stands out for its exceptional foliage. The Calathea Lietzei 'White Fusion' catches the eye with its delicate, slender leaves variegated with green and white. The undersides of the leaves may have slight pink or purple hues. Also known as a Prayer Plant because its leaves have the particularity of closing in the evening and opening during the day. It requires little light to thrive but appreciates a warm and humid environment. We recommend watering with demineralized water, which can be purchased at pharmacies, or with rainwater. Melted snow works very well! This plant does not tolerate the excess minerals found in tap water very well. This excess can cause root burn and damage the foliage.
