Often confused with the Christmas cactus. However, as the name suggests, the Easter cactus blooms in the spring, while the Christmas cactus blooms in the winter. Also, their inflorescence is very different. The Easter cactus bears a star-like flower. An epiphytic succulent that grows in tropical rainforest. Flowering appears in March or April and continues for several weeks.
