Bromeliads - a plant for color lovers! The 'Wolfgang' variety has long leaves streaked from dark green to pale green. When it flowers, the central leaves take on a flamboyant pink color. Its flowering lasts several months, but only happens once. You should not cut damaged leaves, because they harbor suckers which take over.
