Also known as the rat's tail cactus, due to its long, cylindrical, hanging stems covered in small spines, giving it a fuzzy appearance. The stems are light to dark green in color and can reach 1.5 m in length. Under optimal growing conditions, impressive flowering can occur during the summer.
