A must-have flower for the holiday season. This beautiful bulbous plant produces immense, trumpet-shaped red flowers. It blooms only during the winter period. After it blooms, stop watering and cut the flower stalk 2 or 3 centimeters above the bulb. At the beginning of summer, cut the amaryllis leaves and place the pot in a cool, dry place for 3 months. This dormancy period is necessary for the bulb to regenerate and re-bloom.

Caution! Risk of toxicity if ingested.
