Alternanthera Dentata grows very well as a houseplant. The 'Brazilian Red Hots' variety has green foliage with a pink gradation. We love it for its fast growth and compact shape. It is recommended to pinch the tips of the stems (like basil) to encourage branching and the development of its dense foliage. During its growing season (summer), it prefers cool soil. Therefore, it is important to water regularly to keep the soil slightly moist, but not soggy.

Caution! Risk of toxicity if swallowed.
