Alocasia Macrorrhiza is also known as Giant Alocasia. As a houseplant, it can reach up to 1m at maturity. The size of its leaves is equally impressive. The 'Variegata' variety has pale green foliage variegated with cream and white. Alocasia prefers bright light and to be root-bound in its pot. Also, this variety is very thirsty for water and fertilizer. During its growing season in summer, it is recommended to keep its soil slightly moist and to fertilize regularly.
