Alocasia gageana ‘Aurea’ is a rare and highly sought-after variety due to its spectacular golden-yellow variegated foliage. Its large, arrow-shaped leaves display a unique combination of deep green and bright yellow, creating a very decorative contrast.
Each leaf is different: some have large yellow areas while others show more subtle marbling. The plant also has sturdy petioles that support its imposing foliage.
Indoors, this alocasia can reach about 60 to 120 cm in height under good conditions.
Alocasia prefers bright light and being pot-bound. To promote its growth, it is recommended to keep its potting mix slightly moist and to fertilize regularly.
